Tips while on the roads of Fiji
Speed Limit
Except in Towns, Cities and Villages, the national speed limit is 80km/hr.
Driving Conditions
There are no Motorways or Super Highways in Fiji. Mostly there are 2 lane roads and some roads are not sealed. For your vehicle control and safety, it is advisable to stay on the sealed road.
Animals on Road
You will find cattle, dogs and horses on the road especially at nights. Extra caution is recommended.
Car Locking
Don’t leave (valuable) things visible in your car which may tempt a break in. Please lock your car at all times.
